When this gorgeous French Eclectic Tudor at 6640 Avalon hit my inbox, I was sure it was a new build. The lines are much cleaner than you see on homes from the 1920’s, and it’s absolutely pristine. Then I looked closer. Those windows are original and you don’t see façade embellishments like these on new builds. My curiosity was piqued and I began to dig in and research.Hard to believe this is the same house. This is actually an original 1926 house built by George E. Dolph as his personal home. Dolph also constructed Munger Place Baptist Church. A little over a year ago, the house was purchased by two very smart investors, Steven Riskey and Bart Fassino. They brought in a dream team — builders, Parc Chateau Homes, designer Leslie Pemberton, one of our favorite architects, Eddie Maestri — and got to work.
Having used Parc Chateau’s construction services for the third time, we continue to be very pleased and impressed by their work. Our most recent and largest project involved a moderately large remodel of a 10 year old home we purchased. Kimberly, the president of Parc Chateau, made design recommendations and gave us an estimate for the work that subsequently proved to be quite accurate. They began work very quickly and continued uninterrupted for close to 6 weeks. As the work progressed we requested changes to the scope of work, and Parc Chateau cooperated in making our wishes become reality. Julianne was our primary contact person for the actual work and she is amazing because of her capacity to plan ahead, schedule subcontractors and to chase down materials needed for the job. When a few small complications arose during our job which are bound to occur, Julianne helped us to quickly resolve them. As you can tell we are very pleased with Parc Chateau’s work and will use them again given the opportunity and need, as well as recommend them to our friends.
Fantastic Work!We contacted and interviewed several design/build firms and it was an easy decision to go with Kimberly and her team. Very professional, very clear pricing, VERY responsive to all of our requests (and changes). Juli who is Kimberly’s right hand person, was in touch with us every day of the project to make sure that our expectations were being met and to keep us updated as we traveled. We have done remodel work with other firms in Dallas and hands down, Parc Chateau was the best and easiest to work with. The bathroom remodels all came out exactly as we envisioned and were promised. If there were a star ranking system, they would get 5 stars across the board.
Very professional and great eye for detail. Ms. Clifton has wonderful taste and style. The most delightful surprise was her strength in budget management. She provided me with a careful estimate for my full home remodel and stayed under budget despite all the fun challenges that came with the project. She met my exacting requests and met a tight timeline. Her flexibility also has been greatly appreciated. I couldn’t be happier. My home is exactly what I wanted and the quality is superb. The suggestions Ms. Clifton made throughout the project were spot-on. I will probably never have the opportunity to again fully renovate a home, but if I do, I know exactly who I will use.
